The news was eventually picked up by the organisers of the government scheme that assisted Louise in building her business. Prior to the 2014 Conservative Party Conference, Louise was approached by the offices of the Employment Minister Esther McVey, the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Ian Duncan Smith, and the office of the Prime Minister about her extraordinary story. She was invited to speak to the conference on September 29th 2014.
